Emerging technologies of nano-pesticides and RNAi-based pesticides were highlighted for further attention. The JMPM recommended that concrete actions be taken to establish a Global Alliance on HHPs, strengthen information exchange on guidance documents with users and stakeholders, monitor uptake of guidance by countries and address gender mainstreaming in the guidance documents. The process and scope of revision of the Code were discussed, particularly for inclusion of new topics such as Indigenous Peoples and human rights.
