This is the Report which is often referred to as the most famous in the history of Upper Canada. It was prepared by Lyon Mackenzie, who afterwards headed the Mackenzie Rebellion of 1837. In this remarkable document is the fullest contemporary account of the grievances which were mainly responsible for that rebellion.

Toronto: Printed at the Palladium Office, 1838 EXCESSIVELY RARE. Only three or four copies of this most interesting pamphlet are known, including one in Library of Harvard University and one in Kingston, Canada.

Rochester, N. Y.: Mackenzie Gazette Office, 1840 VERY RARE. The Almanac was published by Mackenzie, and is a virulent attack on the British Government and Cana. dian authorities after his abortive rebellion in 1836. It was published in New York, where Mackenzie became a resident afterwards.
