C. M. Come, let us join our choerful songs

Wth angels round the throne ; Ten thousand thousand aro their tongues,

But all their joys are one. ? . Worthy the Lamb that died,' they cry,

To be exalted thus!'
Worthy the Lamb,' our lips reply,

•For he was slain for us.' 3 Jesus is worthy to receive

Honour and pow'r divine;
And blessings more than we can give,

Be, Lord, for ever thine.
4 Let all that dwell above the skies,

And air, and earth, and seas, Conspire to lift thy glories high,

And speak thine endloss praise.

22.

P. M. Blow ye the trumpet, blow,

The gladly solemn sound
Let all the nations know,

To earth's remotest bound :
The year of Jubilee is come ;
Return, ye ranson’d sinners, homo.

2 Exalt the Lamb of God,

Tho sin-atoning Lamb; Redemption by his blood

Through all the lands proclaim: The year of Jubilee is come;

Return, ye ransom'd sinners, homo. 3 Yo who have sold for naught

The heritage above,
Shall havo it back unbought;

The gift of Jesus' love :
The year of Jubileo is come ;

Return, ye ransom'd sinners, home. 4 The gospel trumpet hear,

The news of pard'ning gracc;
Ye happy souls draw near,

Behold your Saviour's face:
The year of Jubileo is come;
Return, ye ransom'd sinners, home.

O for a shout of sacred joy,

To God the sov'reign King!
Let every land their tongues employ,

And hymns of triumph ging.
? Jesus, our Lord, ascends on high,

His heav'nly guards around Attend him rising through the sky,

With trumpet's joyful sound.

3 While angels shout, and praise their King,

Let children learn their strains ; Let all the earth his honours sing;

O’er all the earth he reigns. 4 Rehcarse his praise with awe profound :

Let knowledge lead the song; Nor mock him with a solemn sound

Upon a thoughtless tongue.

24.

L. M. Jesus shall reign where'er the sun His vast successive course shall run : His kingdom stretch from shore to shore, Till moons shall wax and wane no more.

? To him shall endless prayer be made,

And ceaseless praises crown his head;
His name like sweet perfu:ne shall rise
With every evening sacrifice.

3 People and realms of every tongue,

Dwell on his love with sweetest song,
And infant voices shall proclaim

Their early blessings on his name. 4 Let every creature rise and bring

Peculiar honours to our King:
Angels, descend with sungs again,
And earth repeat the loud Amen.

And we,

25.

C. M. BLEst be the wisdom and the power,

The justice and the grace, That join'd in counsel to restore,

And save our ruin'd race. ? Our father ate forbidden fruit, And from his glory fell ;

his children, thus were bronght To death and near to heil. 3 Blest be the Lord that sent his Son,

To take our flesh and blood;
He, for our lives, gave up his own,

To make our peace with God.
4 He honour'd all his Father's laws,

Which we had disobey'd ;
He borc our sins upon the cross,
Ard our full ransom paid.
26.

C. M.
MORTALS, awake, with angels join,

And chaunt the solemn lay, Jov, love, and gratitude conibino

To hail th'auspicious day.
2 ln leav'n the raptrous song begun,

And sweet scraphic fire
Through all the shining legions ran,

And atrune and fun the lyre

3 Hark! the cherubic armies shout,

And glory leads the song : Good-will and peace are heard throughout

Th' harmonious heav'nly throng. 4 Hail, Prince of Life, for ever hail!

Redeerser--Brother-Friend! Though earth, and time, and life should fail.

Thy praise shall never end.

27.

C. M.
O rok a thousand tongues to oing

My great Redeemer's praiee !
The glories of my Got anů King,

Tho triuinphs of his grace!
2 My gracious Master, and my God,

Assist me to proclaim,
To spread, through all the earth abrcad,

The honours of thy nare.
3 Jesus, the name that charms our fears,

That bids our sorrows ceaso ; "Tis music in the sinner's ears;

"Tis life, and health, and peace. 4 Look unto him, ye nations ; own

Your God, ye fallen race;
Look, and be sav'd through faith alone,

Be justify'd by grace.
