WITH THE RARE GENEALOGICAL TABLE (slightly repaired), usually missing. A GOOD
COPY in a beautiful early 19th century binding.

The authors of this book were Robert Parsons, the Jesuit, Cardinal Allen, and Sir Francis
Englefield. The intention of the book was to support the title of the Infanta against that of King
James, after the death of Elizabeth. The book was rigorously suppressed and it was made high
treason even to possess a copy. Doleman, the printer of the work, was said to have been hung,
drawn, and quartered.
