THIS IS AT ONCE THE FIRST FOLIO MILTON AND THE FIRST ILLUSTRATED EDITION. The verses by Dryden, beneath the portrait, are here first published. The interesting list of subscribers of over 500 names, is present. Medina, the designer of the illustrations, who took up his abode in Scotland, was known as the Kneller of the North, and was the last Knight to receive that title before the Union. With bookplate of Granville C. Cunningham.
