A SUPERB COPY OF THIS RARE FRANKLIN ALMANAC. The present copy has 38 pp., whereas both Morrison and Evans give the collation as 36 pp. It is possible that the extra leaf is from another Almanac, as it is a trifle shorter than the remainder of the piece.

EXCESSIVELY RARE. Not in Morrison. Evans cites a copy in the Mass. Hist. Soc., but gives the wrong pagination, as the present copy has 13 leaves. He also fails to mention the portrait of John Hancock.

New York: Printed by Hugh Gaine, [1783-1802] EXTREMELY RARE, and in splendid condition, some of the interleaves having contemporary writing on them. On account of the ephemeral nature of Almanacs in general, it is remarkable to find so many of these rare issues in such state.
