VERY SCARCE. These volumes are all that were ever published under Porter's name, and contain Index to each volume. There is much of Western interest in its columns, together with thrilling narratives and stories by the sporting writers of that period. Many of the contributors were army officers stationed at Fort Leavenworth and other Western cantonments, who wrote anonymously, their impressions of the West.
