A FINE DOCUMENT, with seal, appointing William Rutland as his Attor ney. Bound in with the above is a fine A. L. s., with initials, of Timothy Crusoe. With engraved portrait and photograph. Crusoe was an eminent Presbyterian Clergyman, and he and DeFoe were pupils together at school, and the novelist immortalized his friend's name in Robinson Crusoe.

AN IMPORTANT SERIES OF LETTERS, written from various places, and virtually all relate to matters in connection with the publication of "Household Words." Many authors are mentioned, and notes of Articles planned for the various numbers. Very interesting as showing Dickens' capacity for work and detail.
