This sometimes is called the sixth edition, when the issues of 1604 and 1605 are considered as separate editions. These latter, however, are one and the same edition, probably printed about the close of the year 1604, with some titles dated 1604 and others 1605. The only variation between the two is that of the date in the imprint, and such trifling corrections as were made while the sheets were going through the press.

*The George Daniel copy, sold in 1864. A very fine copy, measuring 134 x 8 in. The leaf with the portrait and verses -though not so described in the Daniel catalogue-is from the fourth folio. George Daniel's autograph is on the fly-leaf, and notes by him, in which he remarks that this copy is a remarkably fine, sound and tall one, in the most genuine state," and mentions the rarity of the edition through most of the copies having been destroyed in the Great Fire of London. He also quotes Steevens' remarks to the effect that it is even scarcer than the first folio.”
