This Lecture was delivered by Le Gallienne in St. Paul and Minneapolis in November, 1900, and January, 1901, and an inscription on the back of the last leaf presents the manuscript to Mr. Young. Two or three of the leaves it would seem originally contained clippings laid down (interspersed references), but these have been cut out as perhaps unnecessary, or lengthening the lecture too much.
