Manuscript of 120 pages, with a portrait of Maria Luisa, title-page with royal insignia, and 8 folding views and plans. 4to, contemporary straight-grain red morocco, handsomely tooled on back and sides, with monogram and crown in center of panels, silk flys, gilt edges.

A Beautifully executed work, evidently made to be presented to "Maria Luisa di Borbone, Infanta di Spagna e Duchessa di Lucca." The portrait and some of the illustrations are dated 1818, which appears to be the date of the manuscript, and are signed by G. Nerici. The work on the portrait and other decorations of the book are exceptionally fine, and they appear at first sight to be engravings.
