An important and very interesting specimen. Written during his imprisonment. Included with the above are 2 fine autograph letters from Emile Zola and 3 by Mirabeau Martel. In one of the letters Zola writes: "Laurent Tailhade condamnè, c'est Laurent Tailhade triomphant, et voila la page qu'il a écrite immortelle, lancée par le monde, faisant son oeuvre de liberation," etc.
