We, the Auditors, having examined the foregoing Accounts, do find, that the Society possessed, on March 31st, 1828, a Balance of 1720l. 8s. 3d. in favour of the General Fund; and a Balance of 2421.2s. in favour of the Institution Building-Fund; also that they held the undermentioned Gover NMENT securities, on account of the General Fund:—Three-per-cent. Consols 3600l., Three-per-Cent. Reduced 1000l., New Four-per-Cent. 2043. 8s. 6d., Bank Stock 3470l. 14s. 4d.
