First, That this Son must deliver up this Kingdom from, and to himself.

Secondly, That he muft fit at his own Right Hand, and that this Lord muft fay unto himfelf, Sit thou on my Right Hand.

Thirdly, That the one fupreme God must be excepted from the one fupreme God.

Fourthly, That he must be fubject to himfelf. And,

Fifthly, That all this must be done, that God the Father may be all in all. All which feem palpable Absurdities, and Contradictions.

Sixthly, Eph. ii. 18. Through him we both have an Access by one Spirit unto the Father; that is, by the fupreme God, through the fupreme God, we have an Access to the fame fupreme God.

Seventhly, Eph. iv. 4. There is one Spirit, one Lord, one God and Father of all. That is, there is one fupreme God, one fupreme God, and one fupreme God.

Eightly, The Apoftle tells the Philippians chap. i. 11. That they are filled with the Fruits of Righteousness, which are by Fefus Chrift, unto the Glory, and Praife, of God; that is, of himself. And chap. ii. That Chrift being in the Form of God, that is, being the fupreme God, thought it no Robbery to be equal with, the fame fupreme God; that is, with himself; And, that the fupreme God had exalted him, and given him & Name above every Name, and requires all Perfons

Perfons to confefs, that Jefus was the Lord, that is, the fupreme God, to the Glory of God the Father, that is, of the fame fupreme God, Phil. ii. 6, 9.

Ninthly, Colof. iii. 4, Chrift fitteth at the Right Hand of God; that is, the fupreme God fitteth at his own Right Hand.

Tenthly, Theff. i. 9, 10. Ye turned to God from Idols, to ferve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from Heaven, whom he raifed from the Dead, even Jefus which delivered us from the Wrath to come, that is, to ferve the living and true God, and to wait for the fame fupreme God, raised up from the Dead.

Eleventhly, Hcb. ii. 3. How shall we efcape if we neglect fo great Salvation, which at the firft began to be spoken by the LordGod alfo bearing Witness to it, that is, the one fupreme God bearing witness to the Word fpoken by the fame fupreme God.

Twelfthly, I Pet. i. 21. By Christ we believe in God; that is, by the fupreme God we believe in the fame fupreme God, that our Faith and Hope might be in the fame God.

Thirteenthly, 1 Joh. ii. 2. If we fin we have an Advocate with the Father, Jefus Christ the Righteous, and he is the Propitiation for our Sins; that is, with the fame fupreme God: And he, the fame fupreme God, is the Propitiation for our Sins. Fourteenthly,

Fourteenthly, Jude iv. Denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jefus Christ; that is, denying the only Lord God, and the fame only Lord God.

Fifteenthly, Rev. ì. 1. The Revelation of Jefus Chrift, which God gave unto him, that is, the Revelation of the one fupreme God, which the one fupreme God gave unto him. See also, v. s. and chap. iii. v. 12. Him that overcometh will I make a Pillar in the Tem

ple of my God j and I will write upon him the Name of my God; that is, Him that overcometh, I the one fupreme God, will make a Pillar in the Houfe of me, the fame God, and will write upon him the Name of me the fame God, and the Name of the City of me the fame God. And v. 21. To him that overcometh will I grant to fit with me in my Throne, even as I overcame, and am fit down with my Father in his Throne. Now furely the fame fupreme God must have the fame Throne with him who is the fame fupreme God: Unless it can be faid, that the fame Effence has one Throne, and the Perfon of the fame Effence has another.

This will be ftill more evident from a Reflection upon the third Perfon of the facred Trinity, who, according to this Doctrine, is of the fame individual Effence with God the Father, and the Son. For as hence it neceffarily follows, that the Spirit of God, is the fame with the God of God; and to receive this Spi

rit, is to receive that God who gives the Spirit; fo it is manifeftly inconfiftent with many Paffages of the Holy Scripture which fpeak of him. For Inftance, Firft, our Saviour faith, Joh. xvi, 13. When the Spirit of Truth is come, he will guide you into all Truth: For he fhall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he fhall hear, that shall be speak, and he will fher you things to come. He fhall glorifie me : For he fhall receive of mine, and fhew it unto you. Now it is felf-evident, that the fupreme God muft fpeak of, and from himself, and not what he heareth from another: And that he can take nothing from another to fhew to us. So Rom. viii. 26. The Spirit helpeth our Infirmities in Prayer to God, and maketh Interceffion to him for us, that is, He maketh Interceffion to himfelf. And again, The Spirit maketh Interceffion for us according to the Will of good, v. 27. that is, according to his own Will. And I Cor. ii. 10. But God hath revealed the things that he hath prepared for them that Love him, to us by his Spirit; that is, by himself, For the Spirit fearcheth all things, yea the deep things of God; that is, of himself. And v. 11. The things of God knoweth des none, but the Spirit of God, that is, God himself. And v. 12. Now we have received the Spirit of God, that is, the fupreme God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. that is, of the fame God. And I Cor, ii. 16, Know

ye

ye not that ye are the Temple of God; and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? that is, the fame God dwelleth in you? And chap. vi. 19. What? know ye not that your Body is the Temple of the Holy Ghoft; that is, of God, which is in you, and which is given you of the fame God? And Eph. ii. 22. You are builded together for an Habitation of God through the Spirit; that is, through the fame God. With many other Sayings of the like Import.
