Doublures of blue crushed levant, with a narrow engrailed fillet. Borders of monograms between two-line plain fillets. Inner corners of panel filled with foliated rose branches bearing a single rose inlaid. Centre-piece a snake with young, swallowing another, their tails interlocked with a shield inlaid in black, charged with a monogram S. P. A. in green, red and white.
