DINNER CONSOMME Put two bay leaves in the water boiling for use with the Extract. Use half teaspoon of Extract to each cup of boiling water. Season with very little pepper and celery salt. A teaspoon of whipped cream can be placed on top of each cup to serve.

THIN BROWN GRAVY

Put butter or nut butter in the pan in which there is a roast or loaf; and to each cup of water used for basting add a generous half teaspoon of Extract. Season with pepper and salt.

THICK BROWN GRAVY Put one tablespoon of butter in a saucepan, and when melted remove from fire and stir into it one tablespoon of flour. Stir smooth, return to fire, add one cup of boiling water in which half teaspoon of Extract is dissolved. Season with pepper and salt.
