1. ASSOCIATES.

Persons desirous of participating in the benefits and privileges of the Institute of Jamaica may become either associates or members.

Any person may become an associate on payment of two shillings and sixpence annually in advance, for which he will receive an associate's ticket.

Such associate's ticket (to be renewed on the 1st October of each year) will entitle the holder thereof in addition to any privileges that hereafter may be named to the use of the Reading Rooms and Library and to borrow books from the latter on depositing one pound with the Librarian.

2. MEMBERS.

Members shall be entitled to

1st. Free admission to all Meetings of the Institute; also to all Lectures and Courses of Instruction given in connection with the Institute.

2nd. The right of joining in discussions taking place at such Meetings or following Lectures.

3rd. To receive, free of charge, a copy of the Transactions and other Publications of the Institute.

4th. To take one work from the Library without paying a deposit, subject to the Rule with respect to the return thereof.

5th To introduce to the Library Members of their Families residing with them.
