Almost immediately the book was recalled and several leaves reprinted, in order to suppress the objectionable passages. The same year it was re-issued under the title of "The Revolt of Islam.

THE ABOVE COPY CONTAINS THE RARE LEAF OF ERRATA AT THE END (its proper place). Some copies contain a leaf of advertisement at end, this does not, although it contains a blank leaf following title that is not mentioned in Slater's collation. FROM THE FAMOUS HIBBERT COLLECTION, WITH BOOKPLATE.
