Cassius Hemina, called by Pliny Vestus 'tissir'nus auctor annalium, (in Frotscher's Veterum Historicorum Fragmenta, appended to an edition of Sallust, Lipsiae, 1825, p. At the end of the fragment is a mention of the portent off the sow with her thirty young, which he must have referred to this time.
