A Kierkegaard AnthologyModern Library, 1959 - 494 pagine The selections in this book have been chosen, first, with a view to the only kind of reading which the editor of an anthology has any right to expect; but secondly, in the hope that possibly a few persons may read it through from beginning to end. So read, it gives a picture of Kierkegaard's intellectual and spiritual development from the age of twenty-one (the date of the first passage from the Journals) until his death a little over twenty years later. This picture is traced by the hand of S.K. himself in the excerpts taken from his various works and arranged (with one or two exceptions) in chronological order. |
