* A magnificent set of books. As nine years elapsed between the first and last work, it is only on rare occasions that sets can now be procured in a fine uniform binding. This set (vol. 3, page 509) contains the beautifully engraved figure of Hesiod, printed after the volume was issued, and wanting in many copies. The series of seven volumes will always be a favorite with the collectors of rare books, because they describe an actual collection of books, compiled with the greatest care and industry, and can be depended upon for its accuracy.
