M. 25 THE Sabbath of the Lord, The Sabbath is our day; For then we read and hear God's word, That day with songs we bless, When Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, Ours is the Sabbath-school; So all our lives below, In wisdom's pleasant ways, 5 Lord of the Sabbath! send 6 Prosperity and peace, Till tasks and teaching here shall end, Then heaven itself shall be One Sabbath-school above, And undisturbed eternity, One Sabbath-day of love. |
