FIRST ISSUE, AND THE ONLY PERFECT COPY KNOWN. Sixteen of the plates were republished by Fores in 1845 as "The Roadster's Album," a volume which itself is noted for the beauty of its illustrations and its extreme rarity. This volume, "Incidents in Travelling," contains the FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE FULL SERIES OF TWENTY PLATES, dated 1833, 1834, and 1835, brilliantly colored by hand.

These engraved titles all have the Ludgate Hill imprint, showing this to be the genuine First Edition, and the half-title to Vol. 1, the starred leaves in Vol. 3, and the list of illustrations in Vol. 4, are present. An unusually fine copy of this important work.
