Whoso abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.-1 John iii. 5-7.

God commendeth His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.-Romans v. 8.

If we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.-Hebrews x. 26.

Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear :

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.Isaiah lix. I, 2.

There is joy in the presence of the angels

of God over one sinner that repenteth.-Luke

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of.—2 Corinthians vii. 10.

Lord, it is my chief complaint
That my love is weak and faint;
Yet I love Thee, and adore;

O for grace to love Thee more.

BLESSED is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit is no guile.-Psalm xxxii. 1, 2.

If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquity, O Lord, who shall stand?

But there is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared.—Psalm cxxx. 3, 4.

For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.-Psalm lxxxvi. 5.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

He will not always chide; neither will He keep His anger for ever.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him.

For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.—Psalm ciii. 8-14

Bless the LORD, O my soul . . . Who forgiveth all thine iniquities.—Psalm ciii. 1, 3.

To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.-Daniel ix. 9.
