Carl William Hall has devoted nearly sixty years to education, research, consulting and administration in various engineering and related subjects. He has served as president of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), vice president of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and vice president of the International Commission of Agricultural Engineering (CIGR). Hall is a member and fellow in numerous engineering and science organizations including the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). He is the author/editor of 30 books and a contributor to 36 additional books and 400 articles.
