E. Mellen Press, 1997 - 118 pagine
Relates the stories of ten female Holocaust survivors now living in the Akron-Canton area of Ohio, based on interviews conducted with them by the author. Four of them were from Poland, two from Hungary, two from Czechoslovakia, the others from Germany, Romania, and Austria. The interviewees related their wartime and postwar experiences; some of them were in ghettos, some in Nazi camps. They were later able to lead productive, satisfying lives despite the horror of their wartime experiences. Pp. 109-114 contain the form of the questionnaire given to each woman, the list of questions used for the interviews, and data resulting from the above.
