was healed, turned back and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

And Jesus. . . said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.-Luke 17: 12-18.

And it shall be when thou art come in unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein; that thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth. . . . And thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God. And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the Lord thy God hath given unto thee and unto thine house, thou and the . . . stranger that is among you.-Deut. 26: 1, 2, 10, II.

Jesus took the loaves; and when He had given thanks He distributed to the disciples. -John 6:11.

And . . . as He sat at meat with them, He took bread and blessed it and brake and gave to them.-Luke 24: 30.

Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.-I Cor. 10:31.

Whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all

in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.-Col. 3: 17.

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.I Thess. 5:18.

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.— Phil. 4:6.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.-Matt. 6:34.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.-Col. 4:2.

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Gratitude Expressed By the Child

By Declaring the Father's Mercies

I will declare what he hath done for my soul.-Psa. 66: 16.

He that is mighty hath done to me great things. Luke 1:49.

Behold, God is my helper.-Psa. 54:4.

Through God we shall do valiantly.—Psa.

108: 13.

Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.-1 Sam. 7:12.

Thine anger is turned away, and Thou comfortedst me.-Isa. 12:I.

How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength? Job 26: 2.

Thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.-Psa. 86: 17.

I was brought low, and He helped me.Psa. 116:6.

Thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.-Psa. 66: 12.

Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear.-Psa. 27: 3.

I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him and delivereth them.-Psa. 34:4-7.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.—Psa. 94: 19. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou wilt revive me.-Psa. 138:7.

The Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.-Psa. 6:8, 9.

When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto Thee, into thine holy temple.-Jonah 2:7.
