tended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer nor his mercy from me.-Psa. 66: 19, 20.

In the day when I cried Thou answeredst me and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.-Psa. 138:3.

I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because He hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.-Psa. 116:1, 2.

What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.-Psa. 116:

I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.-Psa. 77: 10.

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.-2 Cor. I: 4.

I will mention the loving-kindness of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed upon us.— Isa. 63:7.

I will make an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was

with me in the way which I went.-Gen. 35:3.

Return unto thy rest, O my soul: for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.— Psa. 116:7, 8.

Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: for mine eyes have seen thy salvation which thou hast prepared before the face of all people: a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.-Luke 2:29-32.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?-Psa. 27: I.

By Thanking the Father

O Lord, my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.-Psa. 30: 12.

Unto Thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto Thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.-Psa. 75: 1.

Thou hast loosed my bonds. I will offer to Thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving.-Psa. 116: 16, 17.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of thy righteous judgments.Psa. 119:62.

I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord: that I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.-Psa. 26: 6, 7.

I will give Thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise Thee among much people.-Psa. 35: 18.

I thank Thee and praise Thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might and hast made known unto me now what we desired of Thee.-Dan. 2:23.

Father, I thank Thee that Thou hast heard me.-John 11:41.

We do not cease to pray, giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.-Col. 1:9, 12, 13.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. 2 Cor. 9:15.

Thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.-1 Cor. 15:57.

Thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ.-2 Cor. 2: 14.

By Praising the Father

I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart.-Psa. 9: I.

I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.-Psa. 54:6.

I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.-Psa. 139: 14.

My praise shall be continually of Thee. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day.-Psa. 71:6, 8.

I will sing unto the Lord so long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.-Psa. 104:33.

I will praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth.-Psa. 138:2.

I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.-Psa. 13:6.

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.-Psa. 89: 1.

The Lord will command his loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.-Psa. 42:8.

He hath put new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God.-Psa. 40:3.

I will sing a new song unto Thee, O God. -Psa. 144:9.

O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvellous things: His right hand and his holy arm hath gotten Him the victory. -Psa. 98: 1.

In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever.-Psa. 44:8.

I will praise Thee, O Lord, among the people.-Psa. 108: 3.

My praise shall be of Thee in the great congregation.-Psa. 22:25.

I will praise Thee with my whole heart. . . . I will worship toward thy holy temple and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth.-Psa. 138: 1, 2.

Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.-Psa. 30:4.

Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name.-Psa. 135:3.

Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant and praise is comely.—Psa. 147: I.
