By Blessing the Father

Bless thou the Lord, O my soul.-Psa. 104:35.

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.-Psa. 34: I. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.-Psa. 145:2.

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. --Psa. 68: 19.

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things.-Psa. 103: 1-5.

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer nor his mercy from me.Psa. 66:20.

Blessed be the Lord, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted

in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth, and with my song will I praise Him.-Psa. 28:6-7.

I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel.-Psa. 16:7.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. -Eph. 1:3.

Thus will I bless thee while I live.—Psa.

63:4.

We will bless the Lord from this time forth and for ever more.-Psa. 115:18.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting and to everlasting.-Psa. 41: 13.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.-Psa. 72:18, 19.

By Rejoicing in the Father

I will be glad and rejoice in thee.-Psa. 9:2. My spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. -Luke 1:17.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.Psa. 63:7.

I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for

Thou hast considered my trouble; Thou hast known my soul in adversities.-Psa. 31:7.

I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt Thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt show me the path of life in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.-Psa. 16:8-11.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us this is the Lord; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.-Isa. 25:9.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness.Isa. 61: 10.

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock.-Psa. 27:5.

My meditation of Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.-Psa. 104:34.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testi

monies as much as in all riches. I rejoice at thy word as one that findeth great spoil.Psa. 119: 14, 162.

In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.-Psa. 56:11.

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.-Psa. 32: II.

Let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. -Psa. 68:3.

Let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy because Thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in Thee.-Psa. 5:11.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day.-Psa. 89: 15, 16.

Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all thy heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. The King of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.-Zeph. 3: 14, 15.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven.-Matt. 5:12.

Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent

reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him.-Rev. 19:6, 7.

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice.-Phil. 4:4.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.-Psa. 100.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.-Habakkuk 3: 17, 18.

This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord, and have comforted myself.-Psa. 119: 50, 52.
