The Father's Understanding

His understanding is infinite.-Psa. 147: 5. Lord, thou knowest all things.-John 21:

Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.-Acts 15: 18. Before I formed thee I knew thee.Jer. 1:5.

For the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.-1 Sam. 2:3. The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.-1 Sam. 16:7.

For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous. Psa. 1: 6.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.-2 Tim. 2:19.

For thou hast considered my trouble, thou hast known my soul in adversities. Psa. 31:7.

For your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask Him.-Matt. 6:8.

me.

Psalm 139.

O Lord, thou hast searched me and known

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; thou understandest my thought afar off.

Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.

Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Whither shall I go from thy Spirit or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

The Father's Power

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.-Psa. 62: II.

Thine, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come of Thee, and Thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great and to give strength unto all.—I Chron. 29: II, 12.

Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.-Matt. 19:26.

The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation: that ye may know

what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand. -Eph. 1: 17-20.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, say

ing, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.-Matt. 28: 18.

Able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.-Eph. 3:20.

Able to succor them that are tempted.Heb. 2:18.

Able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.-Jude 24.

Able. . . to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.-Heb. 7:25.

Able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.2 Cor. 9:8.

Able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.-2 Tim. 1: 12.

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.Phil. 3:21.

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.-Josh. 1:5.
