When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.Luke 7: 13.

For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are.-Heb. 4:15.

The Father's Love

God is love.-1 John 4:8.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. . . . In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us. . . . And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.-1 John 4:7, 9, 10, 16.

The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi: I have loved you, saith the Lord.-Mal. I:I, 2.

Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee.-Jer. 31:3.

I will love them freely.-Hosea 14:4. He will love thee and bless thee.-Deut. 7:13.

The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: but because the Lord loved you... hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand.-Deut. 7:7, 8.

God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.-Eph. 2:4. For the Father himself loveth you.-John 16:27.

Thou

hast loved them as thou hast

loved Me.-John 17:23.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.-John 14:21.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.-John 3:16.

As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you continue ye in my love.-John 15:9.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, be

cause he laid down his life for us.-1 John 3:16.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.-John 15:13.

God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom. 5:8.

Having loved his own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end.-John 13: 1.

The Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.-Gal. 2:20.

Him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood.-Rev. 1:5.

The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.-Rom. 5: 5.

That ye

may be able to comprehend what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge.-Eph. 3: 17-19.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.-1 John 3: 1.

We love Him because He first loved us.I John 4:19.

The love of Christ constraineth us.-2 Cor.

Walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us. -Eph. 5:2.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace.Gal. 5:22.

Keep yourselves in the love of God.—Jude

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.-Rom. 8:35, 37, 38, 39.

The Father's Purpose

I have made the earth and created man upon it. I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways.-Isa. 45: 12, 13.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. -Jer. 29:11. Revised Version: To give you hope in your latter end.

God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.-2 Thess. 2: 13. Who hath saved us, and called us cording to his own purpose and grace.-2 Tim. 1:9.

Ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.-1 Pet. 3:9.

Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.Luke 12:32.

We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.-Rom. 8:28.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.-Phil. 2:13.

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification.-1 Thess. 4:3.

Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain. John 15:16.
