The Child's Hope

We are saved by hope.-Rom. 8:24. Let Israel hope in the Lord.-Psa. 130: 7. Be not moved away from the hope of the gospel.-Col. 1:23.

We desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end.-Heb. 6:11.

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.— Lam. 3:26.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of his countenance.-Psa. 42:5.

Thou art my hope in the day of evil.-Jer. 17:17.

Hope maketh not ashamed.-Rom. 5: 5. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.-1 Peter 1: 13.

Hope that is seen is not hope for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.-Rom. 8: 24, 25.

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for

his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. -Psa. 146:5.

Our Lord Jesus Christ . . . hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.-2 Thess. 2:16.

Whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.-Rom. 15: 4.

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the vail.-Heb. 6: 18, 19.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost.Rom. 15:13.

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in his mercy.—Psa. 147: II.

But I will hope continually, and will yet praise Thee more and more.—Psa. 71:14.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a

lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.—1 Pet. 1:3.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.-Titus 2:13.
