Strength Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak.

-Psa. 6:2. In Thine hand it is to make great and to give

strength unto all.-1 Chron. 29: 12. Let the weak say, I am strong.-Joel 3: 10.

With Him is wisdom and strength.-Job 12:13

Glory and honor are in His presence; strength and gladness are in his place.—I Chron. 16:27 The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is

weak.-Matt. 26:41. They that stumbled are girded with strength.—1 Sam. 2:4.

The weakness of God is stronger than men. -I Cor. 1:25.

He weakened my strength in the way; He

shortened my days. I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days.

-Psa. 102:23, 24. He [the Lord] said unto me, ... My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities. .. for when I am weak, then am I strong.—2 Cor. 12:9, 10.

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.—Rom. 15:1. Be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my

strength, haste thee to help me.-Psa.

22:19. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary ? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.Isa. 40:28, 31.

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty.--Zeph. 3:17.

Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speed

ily: be Thou my strong rock, for a house

of defence to save me.-Psa. 31:2. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. ... O our God, ... we have no might against

this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do; but our

eyes are upon thee.-2 Chron. 20:12. O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.—Psa. 140:7.

In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.-Psa. 138: 3. At my first answer no man stood with

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.-Psa. 46:1. Cast me not off in the time of old age; for

make haste for my help.-Psa. 71:9, 12. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the Everlasting Arms.-Deut. 33: 27.

Neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.-Neh. 8: 10.

I am feeble and sore broken. Lord, all my

desire is before Thee, and my groaning is not hid from Thee. My heart pant
