eth, my strength faileth me.-Psa. 38: 8-10.

The God of Israel is He that giveth strength and power unto his people.-Psa. 68:35.

The way of the Lord is strength to the upright.-Prov. 10:29.

Men's hearts failing them for fear.-Luke 21:26.

And He led them on safely, so that they feared not.-Psa. 78:53.

My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me.

Isa. 21:4.

Thou shalt not be affrighted, . . . for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God.Deut. 7:21.

And David was greatly distressed.-1 Sam. 30:6.

But David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.-1 Sam. 30:6.

Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid.Job 15:24.

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be

strong, fear not: behold, your God . . . will come and save you.-Isa. 35: 4.

Be strong

Have not I commanded thee? and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is. with thee whithersoever thou goest.-Josh. 1:9.

Terrors shall make him afraid on every side. -Job 18:11.

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not.-Isa. 35: 3, 4.

Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?-Luke 24:38.

Fear came upon me, and trembling, which

made all my bones to shake.-Job 4:14. Be not afraid of sudden fear, . . for the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.-Prov. 3:25, 26.

The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him.-Deut. 33: 12.

Lord, why castest thou off my soul? . Thy terrors have cut me off.-Psa. 88: 14, 16.

Be not afraid,

with thee. . . . Let

for the Lord thy God is

not your hearts faint,

fear not and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified . . . For the Lord your God is He that goeth with you.-Deut. 20: 1, 3, 4.

What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee. I will trust and not be afraid.-Psa. 56: 3; Isa. 12:2.

The Lord, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.-Deut. 31:8.

My son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.-2 Tim. 2:1, 3.

My flesh trembleth for fear of Thee, and I am afraid of thy judgments.—Psa. 119:

Fear thou not; I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.-Isa. 41: 10.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.-Gen. 15:12.

But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by the name, thou art mine. -Isa. 43: I.

Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up.-Psa. 56:7.

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.-Jer. 1:8. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.-Psa. 27: 14.

Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication. My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me. Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.-Psa. 55: 1-5.

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.-John 14:27.

Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.— Psa. 31:24.

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was

afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me!-Matt. 14:30. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?-Matt. 14:31.

And Gideon said, . . . If the Lord be with

us, why then is all this befallen us?— Judges 6:13.

And the Lord looked upon him and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?-Judges 6: 14.

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.Matt. 14:25, 26.

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.-Matt. 14:27.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was cov ered with the waves: but He was asleep. And his disciples came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish!-Matt. 8:24, 25.

And He saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.-Matt. 8: 26.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
