in trouble: hear me speedily.-Psa. 69: 16, 17.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.-John 14:18.

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.-Luke 12:6, 7.

Save me, O God, for the waters are come in

unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.-Psa. 69: 1, 2, 3.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee.-Isa. 43:2.

Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate. Hear me speedily, O Lord; my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me.-Psa. 143: I, 4, 7. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be

given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give. good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?-Luke 11: 9, 10-13.

Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies?—Psa. 77:

8, 9.

The Lord shall comfort Zion: He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.—Isa. 51:3.

The Child's Cry In Penitence and the Father's Answer By Forgiveness

Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O
Lord.-Luke 5:8.
Repent!-Matt. 4:17.

The goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance.—Rom. 2:4.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.-Isa. I: 18. Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world!—John 1:29.

Your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake.-1 John 2:12.

For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.-Psa. 38: 18.

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.-Prov. 28: 13.

In whom [Christ] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.-Eph. 1:7.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. —Psa. 103: 12,

Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dusi and ashes.-Job 42:6.

Jesus said, . Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.-Matt. 9: 2. Through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.-Acts 13:38.

Who is a God like unto Thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy. Micah 7:18.

For thy name's sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.-Psa. 25:11.

Repent therefore of this hy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.-Acts 8: 22.

Jesus . . said unto them: I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Matt. 9: 12, 13.

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities.-Ps. 103:3.

And He spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh

home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.-Luke 15:3-10.

I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.-Psa. 32: 5.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven.-Psa. 32: I.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.-1 John 1:9.
