If you are looking for ways to improve the way you produce visual aids in your presentation, this book will definitely help you. This book is all about data visualization. I learned a lot from this book that I will probably not learn if I just continue to create chart the way most people do.

Here in this book you will learn what context means for every visual presentation. It has a lot of explanation as well as figures to illustrate the many points the reader will learn.

I also found fascinating the part where the author discusses how to present your charts. I was intrigue with the 5 second pause you would have to make every time you show your slide. This the book argues will give your audience enough time to digest what they see on your presentation.

Another chapter that I found interesting was the ethical questions in presentation of charts. Charts can be use to deviate attention to what is important or simply manipulate how the information will come across the audience without necessarily telling lies. This is an important part of the book and is worthy of close consideration. I wish there could be more discussion about it but I thought that it may be a subject of another book or article.

The presentation of visual is good but for me it would be best of there are reference like Figure 1, Figure 2 in every illustration so it will be easy to follow what the text is saying.

Overall, this is a very good book. It would benefit any professional working with presentations no matter what industry he or she may be.
