Loading... The Design of CMOS Radio-Frequency Integrated Circuits, Second Edition (edition 2003)by Thomas H. LeeI used the Design of CMOS RF IC as one of a couple books in an RFIC design course. As others have pointed out there are fewer derivations then you see in your typical book. Instead the author has chosen to impart wisdom through the written word. There are of course some equations but far fewer then in your usual book. Not every author could produce a valuable book using this method but Professor Lee certainly has. This book is really for someone who already has a solid grounding in circuit and is ready to start developing their brain into how to approach new kinds of problems. There are many nuggets throughout the book that if you stop and think about when you encounter will make you a much better engineer. I strongly recommend this book but for someone who is already comfortable with analyzing circuits and is working to improve the far more valuable difficult skill to develop of thinking about circuits and the issues in creating new circuits. |
